Well That Was a Waste of Time

Taken from the front page of Center Ice:

The end of a thrilling series has come. The best of 3 that was being played to see which team would win entry into the RSHL as the 12th and final team is over, and BA has emerged victorious with a 2-0 series win.

Game 1 saw Breakaway take it in a nailbiting 6-5 win. Janitors pressed hard to complete the comeback and send it into overtime, but just didn't have enough left in the tank to fire one into the BA net.

Game 2 went back and forth often times, where the game was once again 1 goal away from a tie late in the 3rd, but Janitors couldn't come together and deliver a tying goal. The game opened with Californian tough guy Anno Domini once again displaying his uncontrollable temper and booming rage with his total of 7 PIMs for Breakaway. The third period saw Janitors unable to tie the game up, and a hungry Breakaway team putting the rubber to the twine for a 5th time to seal Janitors' fate with a final score of 5-3.

So is this the end of Janitors? It's not entirely clear actually.. With the recent nuclear bomb that went off in the Money Inc locker room, the RSHL may still have a spot available for the gritty and hard-working Janitors team. The vangels are currently discussing how to proceed with the whole situation, as someone has stepped up and volunteered to take control of the team and bring back the people who were forcibly removed from the roster. I'll post updates using the news...since....that's kind of what it's for.
